Update on Healthy Galway City Consultation

Due to the inclement weather forecast, the Healthy Galway City consultation planned for this evening has been postponed until next Wednesday, 7th March, at the new time of 6pm.

The "Open Door" in Westside

The "Open Door" is an informal social gathering that takes place on the first Tuesday of every month in Westside Resource Centre. On the morning, there is tea and coffee available and an invited speaker gives a talk on a topic of general interest. The event is always free of charge and all are welcome to attend.

The speaker at February's "Open Door" was Brian MacGabhann of Galway Astronomy Club. He gave a fascinating talk on the links between the science of the stars and how it ties in with our everyday lives.
