Westside Christmas Market & Family Day - Success

Westside Christmas Market and Family Day 2015 was a wonderful success. The Mayor of the City of Galway, Councillor Frank Fahy, officiated at the opening of the Christmas Market in Westside Resource Centre and later attended the choral event in Westside Library. There was a great attendance throughout the day and the market stalls did a roaring trade. The items for sale at the market were all produced by community groups from the Westside and all of the proceeds of the Westside Christmas Market will go towards funding the activities of local community groups.
