The Open Door in Westside Resource Centre takes place on Tuesday 7th March from 10:30am. The speaker for this month is Brendan McGowan of Galway City Museum. Brendan will present a short talk on the on-going work at the museum and outreach activities planned for the rest of the year.
This will be an excellent opportunity to hear more about the work of the museum and to suggest topics and areas of interest for future talks and workshops. Come along for a cuppa and a chat. The Open Door is a free event and all are welcome to attend.

We are delighted to welcome back Westside Christmas Market & Family Day to our calendar of activities. The event takes place on Thursday 8th Dec 2022 and all are welcome to come along and join in the festivities.
The Christmas Market itself will take place here in Westside Resource Centre with a range of crafts and goodies specially produced for the occasion. The market runs from 10:30 in the morning until 3:00 in the afternoon. All of those attending the market can avail of complimentary refreshments at our popup Community Café.
Throughout the day, there will be a number of free activities taking place. There will be Festive Music at Westside Public Library (11:00am to 12:00pm), Storytime for Little Ones at 1:30pm and a Children’s Craft Session at 3:00pm. Proceedings at Westside Resource Centre will culminate with a session of traditional Irish music from 3:15 to 4:15pm and this will be concluded with the draw for our bumper Christmas Raffle. The finale of the whole day will take place at 4.30pm in Westside Library with a jazzy seasonal concert… just the tonic for a winter's evening!
We look forward to seeing you on the 8th Dec 2022 and thank you all for your support during the year.
